Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducting a wide range of physical, chemical, and technical tests on hydrocarbon samples

  • Monitoring and controlling the quality of production processes

  • Providing specialized reports to engineering, operations, and quality management departments

  • Evaluating product compliance with ISO, ASTM, IP, and other recognized standards

  • Contributing to process optimization and reducing operational instabilities

  • Overseeing the proper functioning of laboratory equipment and ensuring the accuracy of results

Testing and Analytical Capabilities:

The laboratory performs all tests related to gas condensates, petroleum products, and fuels (including gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, etc.).

Testing of industrial oils and lubricants includes:

  • Density measurement

  • Flash point (open cup method)

  • Flash point (closed cup method)

  • Atmospheric and vacuum distillation

  • Cloud point

  • Pour point

  • Copper strip corrosion

  • Total sulfur content

  • Chlorine content

  • Water content determination by the Karl Fischer method

  • Octane number measurement by infrared method

  • Octane measurement using the Zeltex analyzer

  • Gasoline composition analysis using GC (Gas Chromatography)

All tests are conducted and interpreted in full compliance with applicable technical standards.
